Duck Rillettes (8oz) is a creamy, rustic spread traditionally prepared by seasoning duck legs to cook them ‘confit style’ by braising in an aromatic stock. The slow cooking process allows the duck meat to become succulent and tender. It is then shredded and mixed with duck fat to create a simple, sophisticated, irresistible spread.
Duck Rillettes should be brought to just below room temperature before serving on toasted bread, sandwiches, or hors d’œuvres. Fluff lightly with a fork to distribute fat evenly for easier spreading.
Store in fridge or freezer. For best taste, use within 3-5 days of opening and/or by the expiration date on the package.
